Oregon Construction Liens
Course Description
1 Series A Credit- This online course provides an in-depth review of construction liens in Oregon. It is meant to provide all contractors performing work in Oregon (general contractors, subcontractors, commercial contractors and residential contractors) with a thorough understanding of construction liens in Oregon, including definition of a construction lien; lienable items; pre-lien/intent to lien notices; perfecting the construction lien; post-lien filing notification letters; foreclosure of construction liens; priorities; and removal of construction liens by posting a bond or cash deposit. It is based upon ORS 87.001-87.093 and current case law in Oregon.
