Public policy developments are changing the way gas utilities will provide the valuable service of heating homes and businesses. These changes are consistent with the strategic path set out by NW Natural, the largest gas utility in Oregon, as it drive forward with its Low Carbon Pathway. This company strategy involves lowering the carbon intensity of the fuel delivered to customers with renewable natural gas, helping drive even deeper energy efficiency and displacing higher carbon fuels in vehicles such as gasoline and diesel.
