Course Description

Asbestos fibers, lead-based paint, and silica dust can all cause considerable damage to a worker’s physical health. Failing to follow the rules can also cause considerable damage to a company’s financial health. Environmental rulemaking is coming at us from all directions. Oregon OSHA has adopted silica rules that apply to general industry and construction employers. This one – hour session will provide a brief overview of current rules as well as an insight into ongoing discussions regarding proposed rulemaking.
